As I said, I missed the first part of the debate, and it's very possible Biden did the same then. However, if it happened after I started watching, then it may have been when I got up to go let the dog out, or maybe when I went to let him back in.

 

Just because he didn't say, "I want to go back to such and such question", doesn't mean he answered the questions asked.

This is republican state of course Palin will get more support on here, 60% of KY put Bush in office as well.. Biden was very solid tonight, and Palin lived up to her rep.

Actually, Kentucky is very much a Democrat state that the liberals tossed on the garbage heap.

Biden talked about himself too much. He seemed to forget Obama. Palin talked about the actual candidate. She won because the masses thought she was going to make a fool out of herself and she showed that she's a worthy competitor.

I thought he answered the questions he was asked well. I especially like his answer to the question of what the role of the Vice President was. I thought he had VERY direct answers to the foreign policy questions, the climate change questions, the questions on Iraq, and the questions dealing with the economy.

BTW, Obama pronounces Massachusetts like "Massatoosits"...

This is what good debaters do. They answer the questions they want to. Both did it pretty well actually. I think Biden did a good job as he did not have any gaffes. Palin did a good job because she exceeded expectations. I give Palin the slight edge because I thought she supported the top of her ticket better than Biden did. He seemed to be more into himself.

He did. He ducked some too. I think Palin undeniably ducked more, especially when she didn't know the answer. We heard a lot about her energy policy in questions that didn't involve energy.
