October 8, 200818 yr The sad part is the ONLY reason gas is down is because of the deep recession. Once the economy picks up again welcome back 3.75-4.00 year round. We are being teased.
October 9, 200818 yr They've been dropping here in Bardstown, but slowly. I saw for $3.37 most places today. The slow decline probably the same reason it didn't shoot up as much and bounce around as much on the high end, either. Bardstown places made a slow, steady climb, and it appears they will make a slow, steady drop. Check that. Down to $3.25 most places now.
October 9, 200818 yr Down to $3.39 in Maysville, which of course is still higher than virtually anywhere near here.
October 9, 200818 yr I was out about 5:00 this evenig and gas here at the Head was $3.49. BF at Panama Beach , OH MY and the gas prices are that low. We may just have to travel down that way , we love that place. Have fun.
October 9, 200818 yr The sad part is the ONLY reason gas is down is because of the deep recession. Once the economy picks up again welcome back 3.75-4.00 year round. We are being teased. Prices are down because demand is down and supply is up. OPEC is meeting to try and figure out how to get prices back up again.
October 10, 200818 yr Isn't it amazing how tickled we are that gas prices are now at around $3.00 per gallon. My-oh-my how things change.
October 10, 200818 yr Isn't it amazing how tickled we are that gas prices are now at around $3.00 per gallon. My-oh-my how things change. I was thinking about that today actually. I was on my way home from school and saw gas at 3.39. I thought to myself "Man, it would be awesome if gas would get back down to around 2.00 or 2.50 a gallon." I guess I've fallen victim to the brain washings.
October 10, 200818 yr OPEC scheduled an emergency meeting for Novemember as opposed to their next meeting time in December, to find a way to raise prices.
