Gas Prices in Kentucky

Featured Replies

OPEC scheduled an emergency meeting for Novemember as opposed to their next meeting time in December, to find a way to raise prices.

Won't work this time.

Oil prices will continue to fall as the world-wide recession continues.

The spectulators have bailed out a long time ago.

While, I don't think gas will ever be cheap again, it will probably bottom at near 2.50, or even less in some places, soon.

When the prices do go up, as it certainly will, it may be a sign that things are starting to improve, economically, as painfull as it will be to us at the pump.

I hope your right but think it will work. They can take a lot more oil off the market and keep prices above $100. They won't let gas fall too far below 3.00. Most of there new budgets require $100 oil. You would think they would watch the debates or listen to what McCain or Obama says.. energy independence is very high on their list. OPEC's greed will be there end but they will enjoy there high profits for another 4 or so years.

It already is in parts of OH. Around NKY it's around $3.15. So if this is correct then someone better get these gas prices moving back up and quickly.

Then again what do you consider too far below $3.00, like $2.85?

$2.89 in Nicholasville yesterday (with a Kroger card)

$2.85 in Oak Grove

$2.86 in Lawrenceburg

$2.88 in Harrodsburg

$3.59 in Salyersville

$3.49 in Hindman

$3.45 in Somerset

$3.45 in Owensboro

2.61 reported in Canton,Ohio.

You mean $2.51?

I purchased gas late this morning on Industrial Road in Florence for $2.89! Hard to believe that I was thrilled to pay under $3.00 a gallon!

2.89 in Florence right before Mall Road.

I got gas in a small town outside of Sandusky, OH this morning for $2.59.

Down to $2.99 in Louisville this evening.

Down to $2.99 in Louisville this evening.

Maysville as well.
