True, but it would be hard to think he'd turn down a deal to say Tampa Bay right now, and I doubt they're one of his 10 teams... Isn't his list of 10 teams packed with teams that either wouldn't be able to afford him or were likely to be sellers instead of buyers this season? I had heard that was the case so that if the Reds wanted to trade him to a team with deep pockets he could force them to negotiate an extension before agreeing to the trade. If this is the case I would think that the Rays would be one of the teams on the list because of their low payroll and the fact that they were not expected to be contenders this season.

I've not seen it either, I had just heard that the purpose of the list was to exclude the big market teams so that he could leverage an extension out of a potential trade partner or hit the free agent market. If that is true I don't think the 10 teams would be teams he necessarily wanted to play for.
