June 1, 200818 yr Week One- LRCW- Reds 4-2 Week Two- Gametime- Reds 2-5 Week Three- Gametime- Reds 2-4 Week Four- HammerTime- Reds 3-4 Week Five- OrignalRookie- Reds 1-5 Week Six- LRCW- Reds 3-3 Week Seven- LRCW- Reds 6-0 Week Eight- LRCW- Reds 2-5 Week Nine- LRCW- Reds 5-1 Another great homestand by the Reds. The Reds have gone 11-1 during their last two homestands. Now the Reds go on the road to face the top two teams in the NL East, with four games in Philadelphia, followed by 4 in Florida. The Reds have to show they can win on the road. I'll be thrilled with a 4-4 trip.
June 1, 200818 yr Author You're way to slow SVfan4Life. You should have concentrated your efforts on getting the Braves thread started. :sssh:
June 1, 200818 yr Unfortunately, with the hole that the Reds' brass dug for this team, .500 roadtrips are not going to get this team into the post-season. They are not going to go 6-0 and 5-1 on all of their homestands. I would not be devastated with a 4-4 trip, but they really need to start doing some 5-3 stuff if they have aspirations for mid- October.
June 1, 200818 yr Its good to see the Reds winning, makes it so much more fun and the paid att: was 111,542 for the series. Go Reds, now lets win some games on the road.:dancingpa
June 1, 200818 yr Hopefully the Club can go 5-3 or 6-2 on the road trip and comeback over .500 That would be big!
June 1, 200818 yr Hopefully the Club can go 5-3 or 6-2 on the road trip and comeback over .500 Would be great if that happend. But like LRCW said, I'll be happy with 4-4.
June 1, 200818 yr Homer Bailey is going to hurl on Thursday. I love the way this team is playing. Despite what happens on this road trip, you've got to be encouraged for the future.
June 2, 200818 yr Hopefully the Club can go 5-3 or 6-2 on the road trip and comeback over .500 That would be great, but on the roadtrip I could take because it would be a great improvement over prior roadtrips...
June 2, 200818 yr I'm leaning towards management using Thursday as a "humbling experience"... Kinda like you don't want him to succeed.
