June 8, 200818 yr Harang has not gotten run support, but he is on a pace to lose 20 games. We are talking about the staff's number one starter. Run support or not, he simply is not getting the job done.
June 8, 200818 yr Cincinnati just simply has horrifically bad starting pitching. Too bad Jay Bruce can't pitch every now and then. And my, what a presence Dusty Baker seems to be in the dugout and the clubhouse. His team is playing like a ball of fire. This is a not very good Reds team. Nobody seems to play with any spit in their eye. They're playing like candies vs. Florida, also not a very good baseball team.
June 8, 200818 yr Anyone think we still need more hitters like Dunn.. we got owned by what a AA pitcher?
June 8, 200818 yr Harang and Arroyo ("We're together againnnnnnnnnn...") have just been total duds. Other than Harang's heroic effort in the 18-inning loss to San Diego, neither one of these guys is earning their paycheck. Run support or not, Harang simply gives up way too many hits, and long balls at the wrong time. Arroyo, in the meantime, can't seem to pitch his way out of more than five innings, and even then, it's a "Titantic Struggle".:irked: Edited June 8, 200818 yr by HAPPYTIME HARRY spelling
June 8, 200818 yr Author I was afraid this team would come out flat after yesterday's tough loss. Another losing road trip, and a 2-5 record for the week. I'm tired of starting the Reds threads. I'm ready to give someone else a chance. Heck, I'm even ready to give SvFan4Life a shot at it. Bless his heart, he's been trying to so hard.
June 8, 200818 yr 9-2. Pretty weak. 2-9 (Harang record). Real weak. 2-5 road trip. Very poor week. Very week effort overall.
June 8, 200818 yr Its amazing how many people can come on here and bash the team after they lose games, but have nothing to say when they get the W.
