June 2, 200818 yr Kinda like you don't want him to succeed. I want him to succeed. Just don't think he's mature enough to do so here yet...
June 2, 200818 yr Sometimes people preform better once called up. Maybe more focus. Homer Bailey doesn't rest in between starts. He waits.

June 2, 200818 yr Some start of Homer's? Don't hate! June 26th 2007 at Philly. I have zero hate for Homer. Only blinding reality...
June 2, 200818 yr June 26th 2007 at Philly. I have zero hate for Homer. Only blinding reality... No other pitcher has ever had a bad start? Do you know him or something? Ever spoken to him to make such statements about reality?
June 2, 200818 yr No other pitcher has ever had a bad start? Do you know him or something? Ever spoken to him to make such statements about reality? I've spoken to him once as a fan and twice as a member of the media. I've also been hearing stories for 3 years about his maturity level from people VERY high up the Reds food chain, and was stating those concerns as people were touting him a "savior". I think he has the talent to have a very successful career. Talent alone doesn't cut it on the big stage...
June 2, 200818 yr So....no other pitcher has ever had a bad start? Especially a rookie! The thing is...why not let him take his lumps as the 5th starter? As I said before he couldn't do anyworse than the 5th guys so far. Is it part of your job to be biased against Homer? In some third world countries the punishment for stealing is facing a Homer Bailey fastball.
