Evidentally it was a bunch of kids that told the AD that they'd quit if Sampson was fired. I know it's a longshot, but if these kids truly quit after Sampson gets fired and they have to cancel their season. 98 will NEVER live this down, and I'll make sure of it...

On a side note, BCG's personal driver was seen in front of the athletic dorms at IU in a 15 passenger van. Not sure what that's about...

No one since apparently they will all quit. LOL

I vote for Isaisah Thomas, both he and the Knicks need big changes.

Where did you see that that was said?

Where did you see that that was said?

Heard it on Rome and Mo this morning. Mo just said Gordon but Rome said a bunch of players. One said, "If he ain't coachin, we ain't playin."

So what do you do if your the AD at IU. Keep him or let him go.

I let him go. Tell the kids the can go too.

I am much more likely to believe my guy than that guy.

Multiple sources report to Peegs.com/Inside Indiana that the Indiana players met tonight with Director of Athletics Rick Greenspan but were given no indication that Greenspan has reached a decision on Coach Kelvin Sampson's future.

Friday marks the end of the seven day investigation when the athletic director is to present a recommendation on new allegations presented in the NCAA Allegations Report.

Sources also report that Indiana staff members as of this evening were still unaware of their future or fate of the investigation.

You're not Jimmy Chitwood, this isn't Hoosiers, and your coach IS an idiot....now shut up and play!

I have no stake in either side. This thread/post just caught my eye because I had read SI over lunch.

I can't honestly believe the IU players would bail if Dakich was promoted. That seems like hurt pride talking, something that could easily be fixed by the next scheduled game.

"Your guy" doesn't say anything about the players NOT saying they'd quit if Sampson's fired. While the SI article does state that Greenspan said Sampson wouldn't be coaching there and that may not be true, it doesn't mean the players did not say that they'd quit if he was fired.
