If Sampson is fired....leading candidates would be....

"Your guy" doesn't say anything about the players NOT saying they'd quit if Sampson's fired. While the SI article does state that Greenspan said Sampson wouldn't be coaching there and that may not be true, it doesn't mean the players did not say that they'd quit if he was fired.

Doesn't mean they did either...:creepy:

Izzo was rumored last time. Pearl is on the list.

Pitino is not happening.

I think IU should go to ESPN for a job.

Digger Phelps, Steve Lavin, Doug Gottlieb.

Don't be shocked. This really good source told me back in November that Sampson would be fired. He said that IU is willing to make Pitino a very very wealthy man.

Tony Bennett, Brad Brownell and Sean Miller.

I like Miller. :thumb:

I'll go with Tony, if only for the National Anthem.;)

Good name mentioned by Dick Vitale last night. Mike Montgomery from Stanford days.

Well then he's already wrong. Sampson wasn't fired.

I'm telling you, Pitino is on the same list as Knight. That would be the 0 percent chance list.

And, Pitino is already a very wealthy man.

I heard that also LBBC. That would be great choice, IMO.

This is true. I didn't beileve my source when he told me Pitino either, and it's not to say that Pitino's packing his bags after the season, he just mentioned that IU has already offered Pitino ALOT of money and after last night probally going to do the same for Coach Pearl.

Pearl was already on the radar.

I've heard absolutely nothing in terms of Pitino. Their were inquiries last time a search was going on, and he flat out said no. So I doubt they attempt to go down that road again.
