February 16, 200818 yr How did all of you early guys, (DragonFire, newarkcatholic, statsmanhensely) hear about BGP?The Guru e-mailed me and ask if I wanted to be a mod.I said sure and was but after doing so for a while it was decided I was not available on the night that I was really needed. In life outside of the computer world because of this site I consider the Guru a good friend.
February 16, 200818 yr I really wish I would have joined several years ago when I first found the site. BUT I'm here now and enjoying every minute of it. It's fun to use the search feature, of the 111 people that joined the site in January 2007, only 5 of us have over 1,000 posts. Only two of us have over 5,000 posts. Maybe I need a hobby. :lol: Same here HC I was on here quite a bit before I joined and now that I'm a member, I'm on here all the time.
February 17, 200818 yr You know, I honestly dont even remember how I found the website. It was my first year at UK and I think I was just looking around on the internet one night. Started reading the forums for about a month or so, and finally decided to join. No way I could keep all these opinions to myself. It was probably a Bell Co./Middlesboro thread that finally got me to join. I have been on "hiatus" a couple of times, but I always seem to come back.
February 17, 200818 yr I first learned about the site during last year's baseball season. I had to wait until I sweet-talked my boss into giving me net access to look into it, and I signed up right away!

February 17, 200818 yr I heard about BGP from a basketball player, I would often read the site at home, I was on Discussion Boards like MCpapa, he and I later turned to this site.

February 18, 200818 yr The Professor kept telling me about this site..probably for a couple of years before I joined. This is by FAR the best forum I have ever been involved with. Thanks to the Guru and the early members for getting this started and to the Prof for letting me in on this site.
