This site has become a part of my life. I think that's pretty cool, I have met some very dear people due to this site. Part of why I like it now, is how you can think you know someone, and after debate, and digging, you can find out something totally different. This site is great. I was on here about a year before my current account. I, for the life of me, can not remember the previous screename, but RockPride, has become a part of who I am.....FlagetRocks told me about this site..

I remember being mentioned in a newspaper article about BGP a while ago. Maybe a few years ago?

You know, I honestly dont even remember how I found the website. It was my first year at UK and I think I was just looking around on the internet one night. Started reading the forums for about a month or so, and finally decided to join. No way I could keep all these opinions to myself. It was probably a Bell Co./Middlesboro thread that finally got me to join. I have been on "hiatus" a couple of times, but I always seem to come back.

I saw 83Bird wearing a shirt at a HIghlands Varsity Basketball game back in 2006 and was curious. When I logged on I was amazed at the site and how well it was put together. ADvertising works Guru.

 

I initially joined to pump up a player who was hoping to land a scholarship and who knows if college coaches/scouts read these forums but it worked out for the young man and he now has a full ride and is playing a lot of basketball at the NAIA level.
