Oh, they definitely stopped right before the 15:00 minute mark when the officials appeared.

...I was just thinking here...(I know, that's dangerous!)...but I've been reading about depth and stamina, and talking about stealing seconds to give a kid a rest...and believe me, I love to rag on the refs as much as the next pseudo-expert. BUT, I gotta give props out here to referees HOF Chappie and Mr. Freppon. No rest and they went 4 + quarters, up and down with the young-uns. (and they ain't exactly spring chickens!!!). They miss calls now and then...well, maybe more than that (lol)...but without them...its playgraound ball! Thanks guys!

From what I understand it is very rare that they do.

Obviously this lends to a pretty solid home court advantage for the Birds.

I believe it's the home team perogative to have the 2 or 3 person crew. Highlands seems to prefer the 2 man option (finances?). I don't see how that pertains to an "advantage"...unless you're alluding to FB players...which HHS no longer uses extensively.

I would say Highlands is one of your more physical teams in the region.

If you get a 2 man crew you can play more physical, because less will get caught. 3 man crew would catch more stuff than a 2-man crew.

You're right on. Home team's call on regular season games. HHS has never embraced the three man crew.

A 2 man ref will not call as many fouls/see as many fouls on an aggressive defensive team like the Birds and, for that matter, Holmes.
