Eli bashers...

Featured Replies

He reminds me of Trent Dilfer. I think he is over rated. Brandon Jacobs and the defense won the game today along with several stupid penalties on Da Boys.

That is NOT true. Eli led the team on a HUGE drive to end the first half.He also made great throws on the other two scoring drives, including the touchdown to Toomer to start the game. I would argue that Bradshaw's change of pace for the running game was just as important as Jacobs was today.

The defense held on and deserves a ton of credit, but they did not do this alone. Eli was big today and has been both games.

Did anyone else see Romo just freak out under pressure down the stretch today?

Yeah he look kind of Eli-ish today didn't he?

IMO BOTH Mannings are OVERRATED! But, Eli is getting the job done more then Peyton right now...

Eli, yes always has been too. Peyton, definately not this year.

Nope, if he was Eli-ish...he would be playing in the NFC title game. :ylsuper:

He will never be Payton, but he has a chance to go a good QB for years to come.

That is the most ridiculous thing that's ever said about Eli.

He's not Peyton.

Who is? How many quarterbacks are as good as Peyton? Not many.

Chill out man they won thats great.

Why chill out? It's time to party!!!!!!!:dancingpa

Jacobs? Hardly. I don't recall Jacobs throwing two TD passes to Amani Toomer or leading one heck of a drive that lead to the second Toomer TD at the end of the 1st half. Manning has his ups and downs and as a Giants fan im used to it but lately the one thing he hasn't been doing is throwing interceptions at points A where he is forcing the ball to a reciever who isn't open or B at times where forcing the issue isn't really needed. Jacobs had a decent run or two here and there today but he wasn't that effective.

Peyton Manning has 306 TD passes and 153 INTs in ten seasons as an NFL QB. He has thrown for 41,626 yards. He has completed 64.2% of his passes. All Regular season stats. He has also won a Superbowl and been to the playoffs at least five times if not more. Now if he were to play just four or five more seasons and hit his avg's those seasons he'd find himself at least top five in almost every QB category. If he made it six years avg those same numbers he has been for ten years then he will most likely threaten Brett Favre's own records. How in god's green earth can you say that Peyton Manning is overrated?

He played better than big Bro today.

?

Peyton had almost 400 yards passing today... And the interceptions were tipped balls... And the 4th down play was a ball Dallas Clark has to catch, thats why he gets paid the big bucks...

I'm not a Colts fan, just an observer...

Bigblueinsanity isn't a giants fan either...just an observer with a different opinion than you.

I'm not a basher but Eli is still Jan Brady :D

Ok so you call my comments ridiculous but then agree?

I said it's not fair to compare him to Payton cause he's not Payton and I agree.. who is?, but he has a good chance of being a good QB in this league for long time. Last I heard that's a compliment.
