For those people in the area, would you prefer the 8th, 9th, or 10th region officials?

 

Watch alot of games in these regions and feel the Bluegrass that services the 10th and 11th are hands down better overall. There are good officials in those other regions, but from top to bottom, IMO, The Bluegrass Basketball Association has MORE quality officials.

Don't know what game you were watching, but the officiating was not bad during this game. I just happened to be at this game and it was the missed free throws an missed shots that made this game so aweful..Both teams did not really play well. I for one was there as an unbiased spectator. Officiating was not that bad.

 

Nor was it that good. Let the kids play basketball and be consistent with your calls is all I'm asking for. With all the bumping and banging in the post and no foul is called, then a ticky tack reaching foul is called, then somewhere you have to draw the line. It is hard to get into a flow of the game as a player if you have an official letting you play on one end, but on the other, every time you breathe you are whistled. I'm just asking, for a crew of officials to be consistent on both ends of the floor. As stated before, Scott County wins the game because they showed more heart and did the things they had to do to get the "W".

I've seen officials in all three of these regions and I prefer the 9th, then 10th, then 8th.

You are right, there are better referees in the region than those three.

IMO Cary Lyle and John Chamberlain are 2 of the best.

I have watched the Bluegrass officials 4 or 5 times this year and they are the most inconsistent ones I have saw! Whether anyone else thinks so, likes it or whatever thats "my opinion"!!!!!!!

The tall blonde guy who officiated the Highlands/CovCath game was Henry Drees.

 

Henry is a very nice man but not a very good basketball official. One of those officials that when the crew takes the floor and you see Henry you know it's going to be a long night.

 

Good baseball umpire though!
