Looks like it only pays to be preseason #1 if you are Trinity.

I would just like to say congrats to all the players who made this team. Especially to Zach Rinestine and Dexter Durante of Fort Campbell. I personally know how hard they worked this year and it makes me very proud to see them get some recognition for their efforts. Also I like to say Congrats! to Coach Berner for being selected as COY! All the players in KY deserve a huge round of applause for giving us a great season of football to enjoy.

I can't argue with any of the selections, they are basically the "who's who" of Kentucky, but I was surprised that Grimm from Johnson Central was not named as an "Athlete". Not that I have a dog in the fight, but I did expect him to be there.

 

I would like to have seen Britt from Lewis Co on as a WR, or Athlete, with 99 receptions, pretty impressive.

 

Again, I can not argue against any of these, they are great players and deserve their place.

 

I agree, I thought that J.T. Britt should have been on there. Anyone who catches that many balls should be on there. How many other players in the state caught 99 balls during the regular season. NONE! Oh well, you live in a small place and you are on a losing team, don't expect to get any respect if you are a quality player. :fight: Sorry Mr. Britt that you didn't make it....best of luck on the next level. :thumb:

Trinity continued as #1 until their 24-15 loss to St. X. in the 5th game of the season. As PepRock pointed out, you did reference "Preseason" in your initial post.
