January 1, 200818 yr Boy, UK really, REALLY tried, but just couldn't quite give it away. I'm really satisfied with the performance by FSU. They really gave it a go despite being outmanned. UK at times looked absolutely dominant. It's nice to see Woodson get the records he got today, especially the one he took from Wuerfell (Gator Hater!). I think UK will be able to weather the players they lose surprisingly well. No 8 wins next year, but I think they'll lose less momentum than some think. Classic UK game....they tried every way they could to give it away but I'll take. A very good season from UK. They may not be as bad next year as people think!!

January 1, 200818 yr :dancingpa Back to back bowl wins...I'l take it no matter what many will say. My thoughts... UK brought only 56 scholarship players to the game. Despite two fumbles Raffy Little showed that burst of speed he had through the first games this year, before getting hurt. He finished the season by going over a 1,000 yards...only second UK back ever to go over 1,000 in a career....I believe he is the second... Despite the fumbles, I think he helped himself with his stock...showed his versatility and his speed was back. Stevie Johnson...unsung player who doesnt get the pub of some of the other weapons, but came up big again...he should get a look at the next level..hit another gear on the bubble screen and ran away from FSU defenders. Woodson...solid game...took what defense gave him. Had the one horrid throw, but Kennan Burton was telling people that it was his fault, he ran the wrong route. All time TD passer in UK history. I thought the defense played pretty well...hey return a bunch....looking forward to continued improvement. Micah Johnson, you need to have a talk with Marty Moore. UK had chances to really salt it away, but didn't...give FSU some credit. Gotta love Jacob Tamme.... Special group of seniors...who have made a big time impact. You think Jimmy Heggins is happy? Former FSU o-line coach who was purged by Bowden and developed an inexperienced group into a solid group and should be better next year. Got a kick out of hearing the UK fans doing to tomahawk chop.... Already looking forward to spring practice.

January 1, 200818 yr Great Game...Congrats to the Cats on another fine season. I love what Brooks has done with the program, and hope he stays around a little longer. Now, here's my BUT...When you go up 35-21 and FSU throws a interception with 5:19 to go, you have to go for the kill. Instead I believe Brooks got a little conservative with two runs and an incomplete pass, then a missed FG. You just can't assume with that kind of time left, and the athletes FSU has, that two scores were enough, and it almost came back to bite em. The good news was, it didn't. I wish all the seniors well, and thanks for turning UK football around.

Do you remember Mark Higgs, Sonny Collins, Moe Williams or Raffy before. That is for a SINGLE SEASON. For a career way more than that have rushed for 1,000 yards.

January 1, 200818 yr Great win for UK! Even though Florida St was undermanned UK has back to back bowl wins. This group of seniors is probably the most special group since atleast the 70s. It maybe the most special group to ever play for UK. Say what you want about Woodson, but he has been amazing these last 2 seasons. He finished his career on a high note, much like Little, Woodyard, Burton, Johnson, and Tamme did. This was a very memorable season!

January 1, 200818 yr Author Anyone hear the story about Bowden and Woodson? Bowden was walking out of the press conference room and Woodson was walking in. Bowden stopped, pointed at Woodson, and said," Someone shoot him, he killed us today!". Bowden a moment later would congratulate him on a great game and gave him a nice pat on the back. Very classy by Bowden
