UK 35 Florida St. 28

Featured Replies

You, sir, are wrong. UK only dominated one quarter of the game. The rest of the time, FSU played evenly with them.

Take away the fumbles and this isn't even a discussion.

They're part of the game aren't they?

Yep. So is the 25-mph wind that allowed 7 of FSU's points.

OK, and your point? FSU played in the same conditions.

I'm not even trying to argue. FSU still had plenty of talent and played an outstanding game. UK was the better team, but they evened things out by making several key mistakes at critical times.

I hear you and agree, but all I'm saying is it's a little cliche to say something like "take away the fumbles and this isn't a discussion." That's the same thing as saying "If they don't make any mistakes they'll win" which is an obvious statement. The fumbles were as much a function of FSU forcing the turnover as it was Kentucky screwing up.

But I won't argue with you. :D

I'm a little late, but congratulations to Cats on a another fine season and another Bowl win. Now let makes it three for 2008. Go Cats!!!!

The biggest thing that bothers me on the first UK fumble is that they had all of the momentum and were driving to make the game 14-0. Then, out of nowhere, you get a fumble and a couple of big FSU plays and its a ballgame. That kind of set the tone, IMO.

I used to go to games with my dad and uncle as a kid back around 1980. I've went through a lot of emotional games with them and my uncle died while I was in college. I couldn't help but think last night about how much he would have loved seeing UK not only play but beat Florida State in a bowl game! Once again I had a blast the entire trip.

The Cats let FSU hang around when they should have put them away but it was still nice to see them finish them off when a llot of times in the past they lose those kind of games. I'm not going to lie I was holding my breathe on the hail marry! Somebody behind us said "glad he's not Marty Moore" when Johnson got the int then the next thing we knew the ball was out!

Tamme: One of my favoirtes ever and I was so glad he got the 1st TD!

Woodson: Went out with the records and has grown as much as any player I've ever seen at UK.

Woodyard: In the Snedeger mode of LBers I'll forever miss playing at UK.

Burton: Sure would have loved to seen him healthy all year but I appreciate his guts.

Stevie "Money" Johnson: CLUTCH!!!!

Little: Great way to finish things off with a solid game other than the turnovers. He looked like he really had his burst back.

I would also like to say that I have never left Nashville after not having an absolute BLAST!!! What a fun city!

It was really not that close. It was more like UK playing against itself. They could've very easily put up 50 points yesterday, but were limited by foolish mistakes. Also, there would have been no chance at the end if the UK player would've fell to the ground with the interception.

Same could have been said if teh ball would have bounced the other way.

Did anyone see the ESPN sign the lil kid was holding Extra Seminols Players Needed...

I saw one that said "Will Cheat 4 Playing Time"

I couldn't tell for sure Stick, but it definately appeared like you were enjoying a night or two out on the town, as well :thumb:

I love how Bowden gives excuses for his players. Instead of saying how stupid it was for his player to do a flip in the endzone. He goes on about how some other teams get away with it but they don't. Probably his same logic goes in the classroom.
