January 1, 200818 yr Boy, UK really, REALLY tried, but just couldn't quite give it away. I'm really satisfied with the performance by FSU. They really gave it a go despite being outmanned. UK at times looked absolutely dominant. It's nice to see Woodson get the records he got today, especially the one he took from Wuerfell (Gator Hater!). I think UK will be able to weather the players they lose surprisingly well. No 8 wins next year, but I think they'll lose less momentum than some think.
January 1, 200818 yr Wow! What a ragged game. UK should feel very lucky they played a team with a lot of starters missing. If not for Woodson, they loose this game.

Won the Sugar Bowl over Oklahoma and the Cotton Bowl over Texas Christian. My father said after the game that Kentucky played poorly. Too many turnovers, etc. I told him that Harry Truman was president the last time UK won back-to-back bowl games and don't fret the mistakes today!
January 1, 200818 yr Outstanding season by the Cats, Coach Brooks and Staff. I've been 100% wrong, about what he could accomplish at UK. Very entertaining but not highlight reel game. FSU played with a lot of determination.

January 1, 200818 yr Hey folks, just came in from the game. I'm coming to you live from a motel in Nashville. Here are my observations: 1) Great game and most of FSU's talent was still in the lineup (especially on offense) 2) FSU has some big time speed 3) I heard a guy describe it the best after the game when he said, "I felt like Florida State was never in the game, yet they were in the game the whole time..." 4) UK made some critical mistakes, but still managed to hold on - fumbles, INT, trying to return the INT at the end of the game, etc. 5) FSU talks alot and hits a lot away from the ball - not surprising as they have always been like that 6) UK fans outnumbered FSU fans probably 8 to 1 - at the game and in the town at night 7) Overall, this has been an excellent day, except for being a little layed up this morning due to "undisclosed" circumstances :thumb: I am recovered and ready for round II tonight! Go CATS!!!

One thing those watching from home may not have known - there was a blistering 15-25 mph wind blowing constanstly from south to north the entire game. Woodson's INT looked like it was shot down with a gun...
