It's over. Let's move on. We're bad but in 2-3 years we'll look back and be glad that BCG is on our side. He's not letting any cancers grow on his team and that's best in the long run.

I was talking to Mike Decourcy about him tonight and he said if he stayed at UK he would have been lucky to get to the level of Joe Crawford. Ouch...

If there is one thing to come out of it, it looks like guards are expendable to BCG... big men are not.

I hope his decision works out for him. So many times these types of choices come back to haunt the person. Apparently he, and his mother, are not a fit at UK. Good bye and good luck.

Meaning that BCG can't coach him to that level? Or simply that he didn't have the talent of JC?

I dont think it will hurt Coach G's recruiting... just that when you step on his floor you have to give it all you got, and Alex wasnt able to do that...JMO

While I know parents have the best interest of their child in mind, it is a shame when they get in the way. 95% of coaches have the best interest of their players at heart and it would be best for parents to leave the coaches alone. Sounds like Alex was doing everything ask of him until mom took over.

Lets move on, I don't want a player that doesn't want to be around. The kid needs to grow up, tell his momma that he is an adult now, and she is not on scholarship, Alex Legion signed the papers. I would tell his AAU coach that as well. The only school that should have the opportunity to take Alex Legion should be UK this season, the other college coaches should not show any interest. Whatever happened to committment?
