Rockmom's Dad had a heart attack on Saturday. They are doing a heart cath today to determine blockage etc. I only got to talk to her for a short time last night. Will know more today.

Absolutely. Prayers are on their way for comfort, wisdom and health in the days ahead for her father and her.

She has it from PH and me....I hate that he and his family have to go through this at all...but, I know how lonely it seems to go though it this close to a Holiday. Hang in there and we will do the rest for you....hope and pray.

It's been a very rough few days for Rockmom. It started on Saturday, when her dad became short of breath after coming in from working outside. He was climbing some stairs and had to sit down. He said he felt bloated, and thought he just had indigestion. But he found out otherwise at the hospital. Just goes to show how important it is to listen to your body, know the signs, and not take any chances.

 

Funny thing is, he still doesn't want to believe he had a heart attack. The worry now is that his kidney function has been damaged. Hopefully that will improve. Today's cardiac cath procedure can also cause kidney problems; so that is an additional concern.

 

I'll keep you all posted as soon as I hear more. I would've posted this over the weekend; but it was so chaotic that I didn't have the chance to ask RM if it was okay to do so.

Hope things go well, RM and your father recovers.
