November 8, 200718 yr Guys...just take a deep breath...UK will be absolutely fine. Kentucky greatly overlooked GW last night and Patterson said the exact same thing. After two full hard weeks of practice this team will be ready to roll again. Don't say were going to terrible just because of one game. Where were all these posts pre GW? Just give it to Nov 21st when you see the new UK team step out there. Everything will be ok! It is amazing how so many of our fellow UK fans can get SO high after a win and SO low after a loss. Simply amazing!!!
November 8, 200718 yr Is it coincidence that the two players who played the best last night were recruited by who? BCG. And you would be wrong, the person who recruited PP was The Tubby Smith. If it wasn't for Tubby, Patterson would not have been here at UK..And also Legion just fell into Billy G's lap since at the last minute he decided to not go to UM...
November 8, 200718 yr Imo thats where the problem is, Bradley and Crawford. Tubby had the same problems with them being lazy and all about me and put up with it. I don't think BCG will. Bradley has never been lazy while playing. He plays harder than ANYONE on the team. His only problem is that he tries to do to much sometimes, and ends up making dumb decisions...As I said in another thread its no coincidence that now two different coaches Tubby and Billy G. both have pretty much played Bradley every game all game long...Now Crawford you are right he is lazy and all about him...
November 8, 200718 yr Ramel Bradley is in your lineup so they would still underachieve. They would underachieve even more because Crawford was in that lineup. With Bradley at the 2, that lineup would have been just fine, especially if you put Meeks in for Crawford...
November 8, 200718 yr Ups and downs this season due to a cupboard having mostly store brand instead of name brand players. It'll take time, but we'll get what we need in here. I sense a little disunion between Crawford and BCG. The difference this year will be that when this happened with Tubby, it affected everything for a while. With BCG, look for him to let Crawford know very soon that he can take him or leave him and that he will not put up with the turmoil crap that has went on here for years!
November 8, 200718 yr Only in Kentucky! Just amazing!!! And BTW, you are probably right! However, they will NOT lose to Vandy on Saturday. It is amazing. I hope your tight about Saturday.
November 8, 200718 yr They were talking on the Joe B and Denny show that UK had a two hour practice yesterday prior to the game, because BCG wasn't happy with the performance the night before. That could have contributed to a lot of easy run outs and not getting over to shut down the back door cuts, heart might have been willing but the legs wouldn't cooperate.
November 9, 200718 yr If Tubby got fired for winning 20 games a year, I would say BG needs to go back to A @ M. Since Tubby wasn't fired, does that mean Billy can stay?
November 9, 200718 yr It really is no wonder UK athletics have fallen with fans like these behind them they cant progress because the smallest step back stops the entire walk. Ever thought maybe the reason baseball does so well and football was doing so well were the results of SOME UK fans just not caring. Its fans like these that made Tubby leave in the first place....so dig your own grave.

Ever thought maybe the reason baseball does so well and football was doing so well were the results of SOME UK fans just not caring. November 9, 200718 yr He is a pathetic excuse of a coach. They never should have hired him. That was a stupid move when the fans kicked Tubby out of town. Blaa Blaa Blaa. Yadda Yadda Yadda. None of that is true. Good thing this is meant to be a joke.
November 9, 200718 yr Aren't there two McDonald's All-Americans on that roster? Let's face it, Tubby never lost to a Gardner-Webb. He won twenty games a year and got run out of town for it. And if I wanted to score 60 something points, I would have kept Tubby. BTW, that ball line defense isn't looking so bad now is it? All in fun, folks, but there are slivers of truth in it. Uh...Tubby lost to more Gardner-Webbs than any other coach in UK history. Let's not forget that one Rick Pitino lost to a Pitt at home in a similiar tournament some 16 years ago and ended up having a half way decent year.
