NCCs kicking game has really struggled this year has been better of late but still not good

 

Huh? With the starting kicker out the last two weeks they are 9 of 10 on PATs and 0 for 1 on field goals with that one hitting the upright, and of course not counting the made one in OT that they took off the board. The game before that 5 for 5 on PATs and 1 for 1 on FGs.

 

Punting has been good all year and the kick coverage has been good all year. The kick returns have been good all year.

BTW thanks to both Insight and WKRC Channel 12 for bringing the games that both have done so far, into our living rooms. It's nice to have companies who seem to care not only about the kids, but the communities were we live also......:thumb:

If you were sitting in the front row, did you have your back turned? It was not so much the call, but the length of time it took him to throw the flag. If a ref thinks he sees an infraction, the flag is to be thrown then and there not waiting to see if the play is made. This guy waited till the ball was thrown and caught for the td, and the go ahead score, before he evan reached for it. And the guy he called it on was a good 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

 

Actually i was making noise the whole time in the rowdy Newcath student section. Bottom line is that the call was made and that the ref had the best view from anyone at the game.

Newcath took a different approach to this season. Last season they had several players playing both ways. This year they only have a couple players that go both ways. I would like to see Newcath go into some no huddle and try to wear down that tiger defense.

I only see Beechwood fans having respect for NCC, at least by looking at the posts by fans on this thread. This should be a good game as well.

 

On the lines of what BeechNut stated, Hopefully both teams will come out of this game prepared for state title runs, as well as having all players healthy come next week.

Gotta go with the Breds. Beechwood is good but just haven't see that same spark of the past (Yeagle years) that is stopping them from going to next level. Breds are showing that they are not a fluke. HMMMMM, kinda funny BREDS, BIRDS, both good. must be the five letter nicknames starting with B.

As everyone knows, we have had several battered players who have benefited from a week off. Dont know if Tommy will be 100%, but Nico has certainly stepped up.
