As everyone knows, we have had several battered players who have benefited from a week off. Dont know if Tommy will be 100%, but Nico has certainly stepped up.

We all agree, it will be a barn burner. Naturally I pick the Tigers. 28-21.

Go Tigers:fight::fight::fight::fight:

That's a good point b/c NewCath is coming off of a very physical and emotionally draining game. However, I'd have to think that the name NewCath/Beechwood would be enough to make the pain go away for a few hours.

If Beechwood can run the ball on NCC I'll be shocked. I just don't see it happening. Good luck to both teams

They'll have to establish their passing game to do it, and I don't think that it is diverse enough to surprise the Breds.

I would like to have some cold pops on this one. I'll take Davis, Bankemper and Teipel in the running game and throw in that slow Elliott kid, OH YEH, they will be running behind the big "O" line. Everyone seems to be all patched up just in time for the big show, according to my sources.

Cold pops?
Cold pops?

Pretty sure he means Beer. :thumb:

I guess it comes down to the running team (Beechies) against the passing attack of the (Breds) I will stand behind our weapons Pangallo, Beiting, Ritter, Kelly and Wrobleski. Three of these guys are in the top 10 in receiving in N. KY. Have fun stopping this army. I forgot the QB Kues reminds me alot of Elliott with his running ability. It's going to be a dandy. Where will they be selling the cold pops I owe you one. Good luck to both teams

I am so not cool. :irked:

NCC 24 Beechwood 10

I'll take a lot of cold pops on this one!

Ok guys...

Today's the day. No postings for 2 days. We need to go TTT with this thread!

Should be a very festive atmosphere at the 'Wood tonight. Senior Night, and Support the Troops activities.

Good Luck to all!

Could this end up being the best NKY football game of the 2007 regular season??? I have a feeling it might!

I don't know enough about the other NKY teams to say that it will be the best game or not. I will say that one would have to look awfully hard to find a better matchup anywhere and not just in NKY, two great traditional football programs. Doesn't have the district implications that it once did but these two are rivals and both are very good fotbal teams. I would love to see this one.

Ironically, it does have district implications; but at the other end of the classification spectrum. Teams in 6A will be watching this one closely.

I think that the HHS/COV CATH game was a pretty good game, also the HHS Trotwood game was pretty good. I need to know if you are only counting games played in NKY, by NKY teams. If so, I still think that Highlands/COV CATH was a lot closer than the score showed. I am nervous about them meeting again in the playoffs. I have no doubt that Beechwood/NCC will be a good game for a few quarters. IMHO the game will get out of hand in the 3rd or 4th and NCC will kick it into overdrive. Remember all those years that Beechwood ran up the score on NCC? I bet that the Breds do! I also bet that they wont hesitate to return the favor. Not out of bad sportsmanship, but because the Tigers and Cov Cath are those two teams that you have to blow out in order to seal a victory. If you leave them and opening, they will be back in the game before you know it. Have to be a homer on this one and root for the kids that come partly from my hometown, GO Breds!!!

Looks like the weather will be perfect! 8 hours to go and counting....

GO TIGERS:fight::fight::fight::fight::fight:
