Haven't seen Belfry but I say they win big. Not slighting East, but a ranked team should have no problem with them. What what I've saw and read East has very little in the passing game, Carroll is a dangerous player and a threat from anywhere on the field. They have some good players, but I agree when you go through 3 or 4 different offenses in a season your going to struggle. I look for East to come out as strong as they can, they usually play up to their competition, but simply they don't have enough for the upper teams in 3A. I think their defense is aggressive, but from what I saw it wasn't very disciplined. Good luck to them, my hats off to the staff as well for having the stones to schedule such a good opponent. It will only improve their team, and make them tougher for the playoffs.

I don't know what he lifts, but May is 6'3 220. He's a big ole boy who can move pretty quick.

Watusi, you need to save the locker room speech for next week. This East Carter team is no match for Belfry. It will be yet another lopsided victory for the Pirates.

As for East abondoning the Wing T, they do have a new coach, for one. He coached under Damron, but may have felt a different offense would be more successful for this years team, they may have not had the personal, or with almost a completely new coaching staff the experience in the offense to teach it effectively. Really i think they are better suited this year for a power game. Baldwin may not like the Wing T, and IMO you cannot effectively coach any offense or defense that you don't like or believe in. I've heard that the Wing T isn't just an offense it's a philosophy.
