Changed to Plan D. Games begin on Tuesday 2/19 with girls championship on Fri 2/22 and boys championship on Sat 2/23 at CCMS.

I just am flabergasted that the 1st round wasn't played last night. If weather would effect plan"D" next week, I suggest, they just get the #1s together and end it.

One more postponement and I think you see some schools pull out. All it will take is another couple inches of snow. No reason, games couldn't have been played last night!

I wander who made the final decision on when the games would be played? Is that a one person decision, or the host schools, or does the administrators at the conference schools decide together?

I think the 7th grade boys divisions are all pretty even with no overwhelming favorite. Nobody has blown anybody out really and some teams upset others while some only lost one conference game. Some teams won by small margins, etc, etc.

 

In the end, seeding matters but shouldnt in the boys divisions as you still have to win to advance and who wants a free ride to the finals? If that is the case then just play the 1 seeds and end it. Personally I think they should have the tournament for just the top 4 seeds. Do a final four from each division based on seeding and avoid that play in game or that other game.

You guys should be happy down there, they corrected the brackets. Sharp will play the 4/5 winner. Highlands will play the Holmes/CC Gold Winner which will likely be Holmes. Its what we expected. Tough first game but the boys will be ready.

I like that we are playing at home as well, always a plus to play on your home court!

There was only one team with one loss and that was Sharp and that loss was to Summit View. They are in the other division and should be given the top seed in their division because they only had one loss. Twenhoffel, lost four games including one to Summit View.

Meece Middle swept 3 from McCreary Central tonight in Somerset. The 6th and 7th grade both beat the Raiders for the 2nd time this season while the 8th grade made it a perfect 3-0 against McCreary this season. Meece goes into the 8th grade state at 16-9 this season.
