There was only one team with one loss and that was Sharp and that loss was to Summit View. They are in the other division and should be given the top seed in their division because they only had one loss. Twenhoffel, lost four games including one to Summit View.

Spy2008,

Did they go by just the West record or by the combined East/West record to determine the seeding?

The 6th and 7th grade finished their season tonight at home against McCreary Co. The 8th grade will finish their season this weekend at the KBA. Good Luck at state.

Do you know what the final records were for the 6th and 7th grade teams--I forgot to look it up tonight. Thanks for the good luck wishes.

It really does not matter. The brackets are set and what will be will be. Just wanted to set the record straight that Summit View was the only team in the conference to beat everyone. Win or lose no one else can claim it.

Good luck to all.

Twenhofel only lost once in the division, Summit lost twice.. I don't see how hard it is to understand..

Is anyone going to the State Tourney at KBA tomorrow? If so look me up, I'll be keeping score for Meece.

Are the 7th graders playing up for Meece?

No, it'll just be the 8th grade. We've had a 1 jersey rule this season so they haven't played with us all year. They probably wouldn't play a whole lot anyway since the 7th grade team is guard heavy and the 8th grade's best player is their point guard, D.J. Townsend. The other guard, Storm Wilson, is also the team's best defensive player so he probably wouldn't sit either. It would just be too small of a lineup for 8th grade to have Gover or Dishman in their. They could help with depth no doubt but with no practice time with the 8th grade I don't think it was even considered.

Lincoln will be there, although 8th grade IMO isn't as talented as 7th grade team that played in last weekend's final four. The 7th grade starters do practice and play up for the 8th, but don't really get much playing time.

Good luck to the Eagles!

We played Lincoln's 5th last night and they are a very talented bunch. Lincoln has a very bright future.

Meece 6th grade team finished the year18-2. The 7th grade finished 22-7.

Thanks for the info. That's a combined record of 56-18 pending the 8th grade's results at KBA. As of right now the 8th grade has a 3 year record of 47-17. The future looks bright for the Jumpers!

In addition, Wayne County, Clay County, and Farnsley will begin play in the elimination bracket Saturday morning.

Mason Co is without there best player so I don't think they will be able to make any run at the title IMO

If Summit View and Sharp makes it to the finals and Sharp beats Summit View in the finals Then Sharp can claim it also:thumb:[/QUO
