I agree, I have just seen parents from each side run with stuff like this and it fuels the rivalry even more. Rivalry is nice, but they need to instill in their kids and realize to win in the future at SK they will all have to play as a team..
Thanks
I agree, but you have to be 110% sure or here it yourself before you start throwing SVM under the bus... now if you are wrong, other schools will bad mouth SVM...this is what creates bad reputations...
Should start on Saturday for all three grades. If my info is correct the 8th grade will play at Twenhoffle, 7th at Summit and 6th at Woodland.
Good luck to all!
Summit View locked up the conference title tonight with a 16 point win over Woodland. Congratulations to the boys. They are going to be hard to beat in the tournament but, nothing is a given.
That is correct. If they beat Woodland at their place Thursday it will be a conference win for Summit. The boys looked great last night and will be hard to beat but, you can never take anything for granted.
Last night's game was fun to watch. Both teams played well but Summit came out on top. :thumb:
It would be nice to see some of these 8th graders play JV next season as Freshman. Why? Because it seems to be a talented class and I would hate to see some kids not make it their Freshman year and give up on the game. Also, because the talent level of the current Freshman and this years 7th grade teams is lacking.
That's not to say those two classes won't improve but it seems as though the talent (current 8th grade teams SVM & Twen.) is sandwiched between them and can be utilized for the 4 years to come. Time will tell.
Good luck to all of the boys....
Big win for Summit View tonight. Beat Turkeyfoot by twenty. They are playing good team ball. If they keep playing the way they have the last two or three games they will be tough to beat.
Time will tell. :thumb:
SVM beat Holmes by 21 in the CC pre-season tourney and by 6 at Holmes earlier in the year.
I believe Holmes won vs. Twenhoefel but it was early in the year....
