September 26, 200719 yr How much of this is Coach Brooks doing and how much of it is the impact of a very experienced and skilled senior class? What do UK fans expect out of Brooks next season? What will define success, and what expectations will Brooks be held to when these players are gone? I guess last year's 8-4 season was the product of a very experienced and skilled junior class. Hopefully, Brooks will be able to find another one of those, a very experienced and skilled junior class...that'll work. A sophomore class would be better though...

I think the obvious change in coordinators have made a huge difference. I believe next year, with the losses we will have, I would be satisfied with a 6 win season and bowl eligibility.

September 26, 200719 yr Honestly I did not remember what I wrote, but after viewing the LSU 40 UK 0 thread I was critical, but atleast I didn't call for Brook's head! I also said the jury is out on the coach, the staff, and the team. The change at D-coordinator IMO has really helped.

Seriously, I do support the staff for the rest of the year, or as long as they still have bowl eligibility left. If we only win 5 games this season with this schedule, you got to ask the question, are we really getting better? Also, fans want to see us atleast be competitive with Tennesee and Georgia. That will be a big deal if we can keep those 2 games respectable in my mind."

September 26, 200719 yr STRIKE3 can vouch for me....I've been on the Brooks bandwagon from the word go, as he and I debated the issue on numerous occasions during Brooks' tenure as head coach at UK. If I remember correctly, at least you were right on 1 out of 2 of your stances on UK men's head coaches. :sssh:
