Word is they already thumped Beechwood. They led that game 33-0 at the half. I just don't like the fact you play 4 teams twice. They play Scott the last regular season game. They are a 5A team. Why can't they schedule HHS, Campbell Co, CovCath, SK, etc?

 

Thumping Beechwood isn't beating 5A schools. I don't know the reason why NCC doesn't play 5A schools, I only know it takes two coaches to schedule a game... so which one isn't following through? The 5A schools have such a large number of kids to choose from, maybe it's hard to know what talent small schools will get year in and year out. However, after the frosh level, some small schools are very competitive at the varsity level, but working with a roster of 20 to 25 kids at the frosh level, I think it would be hard to compete every year. Just my opinion, and I have seen NCC, CCH, HHS and DHS frosh teams play this year.
