Lets not put the cart before the horse with this team yet. This team has the potential to be special. IMO on the defensive side, they are not better than the 2004 yet, but time will tell. Offense can score a lot of points, but still need to improve on the line overall. I saw a lot of nice blocks against Male and saw quite a few missed. I did not see the Beechwood game and Male has some good kids, but not what they have had in the past.Trust me, the Birds had a few to many misstakes Friday for greatness to be labeled as the best ever. Still need to improve in the passing game and on special teams. As they get more experienced they could be awesome. I think they are the class of NKy and will show this on Friday.

I have not watched HHS so I'll defer to the HHS fans who say this D is very strong. I have watched Ryle. IMO their offense is still somewhat limited so that doesn't bode well for the Union-ites.

 

A shutout would not surprise me.
