What were you doing when Bonds broke the record?

Featured Replies

Watched it and then watched Aaron's speech, turned off the TV and went to bed.

I was in Siesta Key on vacation. Never saw it live. Saw the highlights as I was going to bed.

I was getting sick, cause he broke the record..........

August 7th, 2007: The day that Barry Bonds broke Henry Aaron's homerun record.

Whatever you were doing, you'll remember it forever. Let's hear some...

Sleeping.

I had actaully flipped over to The Family Guy about 5 minutes before his at-bat and got to caught up in it. After Family Guy was over I flipped it back to ESPN 2 and he had just rounded the bases and Bonds was greeting his family. Luckily the last channel I had it on was ESPN out in the living room so my DVR had recorded it. I went into the living room and watched the actual HR take place.

Same here.

Sleeping. Found out the next morning.

On my way back from a Cardinals vs Padres game

He broke the record?

Yes, and here's what's worse ... he put a nasty skip right in the middle of my favorite song. I'm going to have to buy another copy of the record. :madman: :irked: :flame:

I was at Pucker's in Gatlinburg, listening to some suprisingly good Karaoke and having a few cold ones.
