As a student at UK we use to go to Godfathers alot. I don't remember one in NKY, but that could just be that by the time I left Lexington I was pretty tired of fast food and pizza.

It was. I remember it had a big screen TV in the front and an arcade in the back. I'd bet it's been something like 15 years since it closed. I think Long John Silver's is there now.

 

That's what I thought. I was living in BG around that time, and I remember there was this one summer where about five or six different businesses along the bypass switched locations somewhere further down the bypass.

I saw Godfather's and pizza isn't what I first thought about. :D

Never seen one in Cincy or NKY. Nickey's in Hebron is the bomb in NKY.

In the 80's, there was one in Newport. In the Kmart shopping center below NCC.

The only time I had Godfather's I got sicker than a dog! Haven't had it since.

In the early 1980s there was a Godfather's Pizza in Russell at the intersection of Diederich Blvd. and US 23. The pizza was excellent according to those who dined there.

Very good pizza. Had one here in the Ashland area years ago and was sad to see it go.

I have always loved Godfather's pizza!!

Ate at one in Mytrle Beach about three weeks ago it was an awsome pizza.

Used to be a Godfather's out in the Erlanger/Ft Mitchell area back in the 80's. Good pizza, miss it...

 

Was it the one located in the KMart shopping center?

Haven't had Godfathers since college in NC...over 20 years ago...great stuff!!!

Lived on it in college. First mexican pizza I every had.

It was good and cheap if I remember. But they always seemed to be in bad locations in Louisville at least from what I remember. Like they would be inside crappy stripmalls and have bad lighting probably too much like Gaddies and Chuch cheese style of pizza but without the TVs or videogames to compete.

These were everywhere in San Diego when I was growing up. Got beaten up in the pizza wars out in CA by Round Table and Shakey's. I always thought they were too heavy on the crust and too light on the toppings.

I drove past it about 2 weeks ago.
