I have worked at Godfather's Pizza in Mt. Vernon off and on for over 2.5 years (during high-school and summer vacation during college) and I get these quotes all the time:

 

"Like, OMG, there really are Godfathers Pizza's still around, I haven't had one in like 20 years."

 

"Man, I used to eat Godfather's all the time, dawg. Up in Cincinatti yo, we used to have a bunch of these, now they are all gone."

 

"This is the ONLY Godfather's Pizza between Dayton and Tennessee!!!!"

 

That led me to start this poll. I am just curious to see how many people have ever ate at Godfathers. My boss tells me all the time that Godfathers Pizza is BIG in the midwest and is a major sponsor of the College World Series, but they don't do well in the East. Ah well.

There was a godfather's pizza in Mayfield for a long time when I was young.

 

then a few years ago one opened in Paducah but it didn't stay open for very long.

 

I use to love their pizza.

I havent had GodFathers since the mid 80's when it was in the Newport shopping center where Big Kmart now is located. It was great pixza..

Here in BG they have Godfather's Pizza in every Minit Mart. Once upon a time we had a standalone store as well. It's good stuff.

We have a minit-mart in Danville that has Godfather's pizza and I love it!!!

Never have, I don't remember one ever being in our area and there are a great many pizza places around here.

I've never eaten there. There's a Godfather's in downtown Lex, maybe I should check it out.

There used to be several in Louisville. I remember the pizza being very good but the next day your fingers were swollen two ring sizes due to the salt.... It is very good, but I would not recommend it more that a couple times a year...

I used to eat there when it was on the Bypass. Back around 80-81 before it was a Godfathers but it was still a Pizza place My High school rock band played there for free Pizza.The Food was better than the Music...

It was. I remember it had a big screen TV in the front and an arcade in the back. I'd bet it's been something like 15 years since it closed. I think Long John Silver's is there now.

There was one on Alexandria Drive in Lexington in the early 80's.I lived within walking distance of it..best pizza I have ever had!!!

Never seen one in Cincy or NKY. Nickey's in Hebron is the bomb in NKY.

Used to be a Godfather's out in the Erlanger/Ft Mitchell area back in the 80's. Good pizza, miss it...
