April 5, 200719 yr What this thread needs is a classic Fletch post featuring all the "my sources tell me" and "its a done deal" posts. Sources and done deals are overrated. Sometimes I lay in bed at night and pray for a source to come into my life, it's times like these I'm just glad to be a regluar person who doesnt know bank tellers, real estate agents, high profile lawyers or flight attendants.

At this point I don't think we are going to be able to "steal" coaches from other programs, when most of those coaches, have been their for such a long time and seem happy. I don't know if we will get the big brand name we thought at this point

April 5, 200719 yr don't feel any different today as I did yesterday. I would have loved to have gotten Donnovan but appreciate his loyalty. I am also still glad Tubby is gone. Anybody that says it's a sad day says it with no validity. The new coach hasn't even been hired much less won or lost any games for goodness sakes!!! I don't think Donnovan turning down UK is a slap in the programs face as much as it is that he is very happy where he is. He has a family, friends, weather etc. Right now he is doing things that nobody has ever done there. I would have loved to have gotten him, I don't think it's the smartest move for him but I respect him for doing what he feels like is best for him and his family. Gee life is awful, we will now interview 5 of the 10 coaches in the country worst case!
