oldrambler
This may or may not be true, considering espn's track record of naming coaches lately and who is going and who is staying.............. My response is
Log Mountain Boy
From ESPN it is probably correct. Not a done deal until he announces it for sure though. Hopefully we will go after Matta and Calipari very hard first.

DaPlaya711
Not a surprise if he stays. UK basketball may never get back to where it use to be. Obviously it's not the job everyone wants to have.
LSURock
Wow, if this turns out to be true Mitch will running for cover. First he wiffs on the Tuna, now he loses Billy the kid.
DaPlaya711
Say goodbye to Patterson as well. He will be wearing the orange and blue of florida. Big set-back for us UK fans.
MOUNTAINFOOTBALL
If he comes to UK he comes and if he doesn't then I hope plan B is a good coach...I getting tired of hearing about it and just wish the coaching search would end.
HOMELESS CAMEL
Well maybe now UK will move on and go after my dark horse, PETE GILLEN!

Hopefully we will go after Matta and Calipari very hard first. I don't trust either one of those personally, especially Calipari......(imo probation waiting to happen) same with Matta but I do not feel as strong on that as I do about Calipari. I would think (and certainly hope) trhat Barnhart aleady has a plan B in case donovan turns it down.
gametime
Like I said last night I wouldn't be surprised to hear plan B hired today...
PhiSlamaJama
WOW!!! I thought everyone had all these sources saying that Billy D. had all but announced his intentions to coach UK next year? I knew everyone who knew someone was just trying to spread rumors. But hey, the chase was fun while it lasted. Let's hope for Gillespie or Calapari! gchs_uk9
ESPN reported that Jeremy Foley asked to speak with Donovan first. Now they report that Donovan is staying at Florida. Did Mitch even talk to Donovan?
