Track The Reds...

Featured Replies

Griffey ruins the complete game shutout with his ridiculous effort on the fly ball.

Chrissy just informed us that if you keep your pitch count low early in the game, it allows you to pitch later in the game.

I'm not sure what is more frightening, his baseball knowledge or the fact he found a significant other that thinks he is VERY charming and funny.

Didnt see effort...what did he do?

Junior has the worst "zone rating" in the NL of all RF, and 4th worst in all of baseball.

Without me going to a sabermetrics site, is zone rating code for ground he can cover?

You've got to be kidding me. He has played great in right all year, he clearly thought he was closer to the wall than he was.

It happens, to say it was bad effort is completely ridiculous.

Griffey has the worst "zone rating" of all RF in the NL and is 4th worst in all of baseball involving RF.

With respect to Griffey, once a player feels/hears the warning track, they usually count 3 steps and realize, they are at the wall.

It appeared Griffey, chopped his 2nd and jumped a little too soon but never fault a player, for attempting to make a play at the wall....He's climbed, banged and ran into, many walls in his day.

I must be psychic or something.

Field is divided into 22 parts....

For example a RF would have a certain area in which balls he should get to. One for line drives and one for fly balls.

What a throw. WOW!

Thom said on the broadcast that MAYBE ONLY five people on the planet have been given all the skills that Hobbs was given.

I don't fault Junior one bit for the effort on that play, however to say he has "played great in right all year" is flat out incorrect. That play, however, was not an indication of that. It was a hard play, very hard, and he made a valiant effort. Are there guys that make that play, sure, but it certainly wasn't routine.

11 Hows till HomerTime. :D J/K guys. I just hope he keeps it respectable. If not no big deal to me.

I've stayed away from watching them the last couple of nights mainly for keeping my sanity. Definetly be tuned in tonight. 7 in a row?? Hey what the heck. Go Reds:dancingpa

So is it still a bad move to send E-5 down?

It would be now. :D :D

Ok I went over a bit on the great part, but to fault him for that play is very very weak.

Would this be similar to us using "talking points?"
