June 7, 200719 yr The sad thing is, this is essentially the same team that last year had some great winning streaks and put together some impressive runs to get in a good position before that road trip in August/September we are all aware of. Just amazing this bullpen is actually WORSE than what they were before all the trades last year. Then they improved, now they have gotten worse again. They are going to continue to stick with the younger guys for now in the pen, which is fine, but if they don't improve AT ALL this year, can you honestly go with them AGAIN to start next year?
June 7, 200719 yr I think this pen is going to look a lot different next year. They can bring back keeping it RHEAL!
June 7, 200719 yr Author It better.... A lot of new faces down there this year and things didn't get much better. At some point you have to target a few young guys and let them take their lumps...
June 7, 200719 yr It better.... :thumb: No kidding!! I might suggest that the Reds actually put some pitchers out there instead of the human B.P. machines they have now.
June 7, 200719 yr They can bring back keeping it RHEAL!  No they should look at him as the example of what to do if you want to get canned from the Reds. He didn't keep it Rheal anymore. Wish it wasn't so.
June 8, 200719 yr Tonight is the first win of a 7 game win streak. Reds win tonight: they're due. I doubt you're layin down your wallet for the 7 in a row thing:lol:
June 8, 200719 yr There was just a great conversation in the FSN booth. Subject: How many milestone homeruns did Chris Welsh give up?
June 8, 200719 yr Author Fsn suddenly agreed that the Reds were'nt worth showing . They're gone:cool: Back to 105 games...
