June 7, 200719 yr Author You have more faith in WK than most... I have faith in the Twins model being the best fit here...
June 7, 200719 yr Which would make Gonzalez being in the Top 5 even worse...right? Following your train of thought about the Reds having fewer runners on.... His LOB% must be pretty high.
June 7, 200719 yr "It didn’t seem like the wise and prudent thing to do to go through all that travel for one game. If he’d been eligible for Friday that would be a different," Krivsky said. "Based on everything he went through physically, it didn’t make sense to do it for one game. I'm sure I'll get criticized for that, but that goes with the territory -- have a little wider lens than one game, you’ve got to put it all together and it’s the smart thing to do." Stupid logic getting in the way of the GM's at home on their computer dying to complain.... This count?
June 7, 200719 yr Author This count? It means I agreed with one thing he said. Anything else? Weak...
June 7, 200719 yr It means I agreed with one thing he said. Anything else? Weak... No you agree w/ what he's doing. Even when people point out bad things he's done you say he doesn't have a crystal ball. If someone agrees w/ Lance they're wrong in your eyes. If you agree w/ Wayne it's fine, but everyone else should as well. You ask for solutions, people say maybe you could get something for Dunn and you shoot everything down. People should be aware you feel great about Krivsky and that he will build this franchise like the one in Minnesota. Some people don't think he's capable of that. You say the farm system is the best it has been in 20 years. That has very little to do w/ him. Some people don't feel as strongly as you do about his ability to turn this around. I agree w/ you that all is not his fault, but you aren't willing to admit that he can and does make mistakes. What if he can't get this franchise built like the Twins? A lot of people are trying it and what is their success level?
June 7, 200719 yr Strong... So I give you evidence that you do repeat what he says and use it and you say strong. Don't ask for proof if you don't want it.

June 7, 200719 yr How many people trying to do it were the #2 guy in Minnesota for a long time??? So that means he'll be just as successful? Got it. The A's and their moneyball philosophy were so hot, how did their number 2 do? If Krivsky drafts or trades for the best pitcher in the game hands down they'll have more success than they have right now. Good luck. W/o Santana the Twins aren't nearly as good of a team. I'm all oabout optimism, but I'm not about to think that he can't mess up.
