Or go to apathy and just overlook the fact this team is going to lose over 100 games. You can keep the faith as long as you want, I feel you will soon be standing alone. you prepared for another 100 next year? What games are you watching anyway? I'm flabbergasted that anyone can night after night defend what we all are witnessing as something positive.

What we are watching is a train wreck. And there is little to do to save it. So I'm prepared to ride it out. Make some moves at the deadline and then get down to the heart of things in October. Overreacting now accomplishes nothing outside of giving more ammo to the sky is falling crowd...

I'd like to hit PETA LaRussa in the back of the head. What an idiot! Way to come to your players defense Jerry!

I had not seen this or heard it. Abner Doubleday Larussa is a class A jerk, plain and simple. I also agree on the way that Narron had his players back  . Way to go to bat for your player and team Jerry, nice......real nice :madman: . I am sure that the players admire and respect you even more for that strong statement  . Narron is spineless. I wish that we had a puke icon in situations like this.

Thought this was interesting...I didn't research it, so passing it along somewhat blindly:

Team LOB: Reds (789) rank 9th in baseball with the most left on base. Oakland is No. 1 with a whopping 849. Who among us thought after last night the Reds' number would be about 8,416?

Individual LOB: The Reds' leader is . . . Gonzalez with 97, tied for 5th in the NL. No other Redleg is in the top 10. The NL leader is Atlanta's Andruw Jones with 105; the MLB leader is Eric Oakland's Chavez with a staggering 114.

Where would we be without Phillips and Gonzo this year?

Uhh, right where they are now?

I'd be curious to know what the % of times a runner is LOB for the Reds vs others. An aggregate number is misleading because it can (and does) indicate that the other teams are actually getting a lot of runners on base unlike the Redlegs.

Where I can I get me one of them talking points memos GT keeps mentioning?

Is it different from WK's talking points?

Which would make Gonzalez being in the Top 5 even worse...right? Following your train of thought about the Reds having fewer runners on....

He shouldn't hit any higher in the lineup than 7th, but he had a couple of decent weeks and he hits all over the lineup.

Side note: I'll take the under on your predictions for his numbers on the year. I forgot to mention it earlier.

Krivsky has said to sell at the deadline and make changes in the offseason? Can I get a link???

Do you really have confidence in this group to make the necessary improvements over the offseason?
