June 7, 200719 yr Author By the time August rolls around I will be doing flyby's. Talking points? I'm sorry I must have missed the email sent out from the national committee. Drink the Kool-Aid that Krivsky and company are dispensing...soon that Kool-Aid with be spiked with Everclear Pure Grain to get people through the season. Change. Change. Change. Am I in a UK hoops thread? Good Lord. Fire Tubby!!! Flyby's = Talking Points. Thanks...
June 7, 200719 yr Average or not I guarantee Conine is producing more than Harris we already have the next Reds first base man ready no need for Harris. Stanton-Took a chance didn't work out happens with small market teams Santos and Hermanson- So what? Rheal/Germano - seemed logical at the time. Hindsight is 20/20 Bullpen is injured Bailey is up now so something must have changed.
June 7, 200719 yr Solutions. Let's hear 'em... That is all you have? If I was getting paid Krivsky's coin and did nothing but running the Reds, I sure would be doing something to salve the wounds right now. Burying my head in the sand and offering up, "we are a better ballclub than we have shown" is acceptance of what he has put together for this season. Acceptance of a team that is 16 under .500 and giving off the impression that somehow this is going to turn around. The management needs to be upfront with the people and explain some things. Castelenni said they were going to put a product on the field that all Reds fans could be proud of. This team is about two and a half months away from going to page 3 of the sports page. What is their vision? What is their mission?
June 7, 200719 yr Lets stuff the ballot box!!! http://www.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2007/ballot_reg.jsp I voted hundres of times just change your email after 25. It would be funny to see David Ross as an all star
June 7, 200719 yr I think the almighty Krivsky needs to address this before it undresses him. Narron needs to go now. I really don't care if it improves them now or not. It certainly can not hurt. The Reds are as bad as they can possibly get. I read the letter the "NEW" management sent to the fans 500 and something days ago, and it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. There is no one to blame for all of this except the people that are running the show now. You go on and on about the dire straight s the previous management left the org in. That doesn't ring with me as anything more than a poor excuse right now. All I see now are poor management decisions front office and on the field, and then hear lame excuses as to the results. Somebody please man up, and admit this thing is a fiasco and admit the mistakes and failure (no excuses please). The time for change is NOW!!

Or go to apathy and just overlook the fact this team is going to lose over 100 games. You can keep the faith as long as you want, I feel you will soon be standing alone. you prepared for another 100 next year? What games are you watching anyway? I'm flabbergasted that anyone can night after night defend what we all are witnessing as something positive.
June 7, 200719 yr It is good to see you guys react so well to Lance's canned talking point of the day. Bravo... I don't listen to him, but obviously he must be making some very valid points. I did catch the end of Daugherty's interview with the "High and Mighty" last night and came with less of good feeling from Mr. Krivsky's position.
June 7, 200719 yr Wow, I really need to hang out with my wife and son less at night and get on here during the games. You guys are a hoot. My favorite comparison of the day -- Pitcher #1: 2-7; 5.01 era; 1.47 whip; 1.8 k's to bb ratio Pitcher #2: 0-4; 5.17 era; 1.54 whip; 2.0 k's to bb ratio Wow.

It looked like it got pretty wild and wooly last night. I'm glad I skipped it. When I bailed the Meltdown had yet to occur and it was still pretty mellow.
