What kind of pitch count did Homer have in the Minors? Seems like that is his worst enemy.

It was just like we are seeing now. High pitch count in 5 and sometimes 6 innings...

47 pitches after 2...

Very nice job to pitch around the walk, he is on pace to pitch five. That wouldn't be too bad for a first start, just hold the Indians down and just hope to goodness the bullpen can do the same.

Wheres he at on pitch count?

Be nice to give the kid a lead. Like to see a couple come across this inning

Jim Day doing a fingernails across a black board interview.

This will be the 2nd time through the order, will be interesting to see how Homer does.

Reminds me a bit of Oswalt the way his fastball jumps out of his hand...

61 pitches after 3. He's settling down...

What I have picked up on is that he isn't giving in or giving up when falling behind. He comes right after them, you are playing with fire when you keep falling behind, BUT it comes down to the end result and he is pitching pretty darn well through 3.

Had a bad stretch with those back to back hits in the first, but otherwise has done about as well as could be expected.
