June 9, 200719 yr I think it's the funky grip on the change we've heard so much about...If he was throwing his change 88 i'd agree...
June 9, 200719 yr 114 pitches in 5 innings. Nice work kid... Nice debut by Homer. Now let's score about 7 runs the next couple of innings, and pray that the bullpen can hold it.

June 9, 200719 yr Author If he was throwing his change 88 i'd agree... That's the long time problem with his change. Can't get it slow enough...
June 9, 200719 yr Nice effort by Homer...didn't have the greatest of command but can be a winner tonight. Might have to go to the game next Thursday to see Homer throw live. Still needs work on change and the deuce...should have gone more to fastball to the last few batters...did so with Dalucci but not to the previous one...a lot of offspeed stuff. Give credit to Narron for riding him as long as he could. Hopefully the gas can on the back of the incoming reliever is empty and they can preserve one for Homer.
