June 10, 200719 yr Just wow, great, great catch. You have got to get that run in from 2nd, wouldn't surprise me at all to see Cleveland get 1 or 2 in the 11th.
June 10, 200719 yr Always seems to happen this way, one team misses out on a golden opportunity. Other team comes right back and takes advantage. Pen used up yesterday, had to start early today, essentially left short handed, Santos was on his own.
June 10, 200719 yr Interesting stat that the Reds lead MLB with 49% of their runs coming via HR. 55% in June. Last night's loss was a perfect reason why they are the worse team in baseball. Good starting pitching wasted by ineffective bullpen. Calls don't go their ways (Majewscki's pitches called balls before the HR). Lack of clutch hitting. Poor defense.
June 10, 200719 yr CTR: It also looks like Eddie Guardado will make another rehab appearance next week. He said he thought he'd go Monday, but he didn't know where. Dayton is on the road at Lansing that day, but Louisville is playing Rochester at home, so the latter would be a good bet. So far, he's made two appearances in Dayton and pitched scoreless innings in each one. He said he's feeling good.
June 10, 200719 yr Home plate umpire squeezed Majewski twice in at bat versus Delucci. Narron should have gotten tossed instead he sits there with a blank stare.
June 10, 200719 yr How ironic is it that the Reds are celebrating 3 of the best broadcasters in team history, maybe even baseball history. We are forced to sit through 3 hours of two of the worst tv broadcasters in baseball history.
June 10, 200719 yr Great ceremony today, Waite, Marty and Joe ARE Cincinnatti ! :ylsuper: I have listened to Marty and "the Old Lefthander" for years and still do. Very moving tribute and well deserved tribute to these three broadcasters. Now time to turn the radio on, radio sound up and mute the T.V. and watch the Reds and listen to a REAL baseball broadcast and not the embarrassment that is the fsn t.v. crew.
June 10, 200719 yr How ironic is it that the Reds are celebrating 3 of the best broadcasters in team history, maybe even baseball history. We are forced to sit through 3 hours of two of the worst tv broadcasters in baseball history. I agree. Turn your radio on and mute the t.v. if you can HC. :thumb:
June 10, 200719 yr I agree. Turn your radio on and mute the t.v. if you can HC. :thumb: As much as I love Reds on Radio, you can't beat the stupidity with these two. Where else can you find out that if you throw strikes you will have a good chance at winning the game.
June 10, 200719 yr Harang looks good early, which is a good thing since the Reds might only get 2 runs off CC.
