Or the Knicks had the sense to tell him that the PR would be horrendous. Morris has looked like a guy who had no concerns about the future for some time now...

Exactly.

Maybe that was what put a fire in him those last 2 games.

Try 4. I've heard his mind was made up right before the SEC Tournament...

Good luck Morris... thank you for making us contend the last 2 years!

Tubby knew Morris was gone...... another one of the reasons he left. No replacement for him next year.

No big suprise, happened earlier than I expected though. He played about as good as he could down the stretch, at least he left playing well.

Under the new APR, schools are subject to scholarship penalties if student-athletes leave early and not in good academic standing. Withdrawing from school before the end of a semester can seriously impede a team's GPA and academic standing. To that end, Texas and Ohio State are taking steps to ensure freshmen Kevin Durant and Greg Oden will finish the spring semester.

Could be, but I also wonder if maybe the Knicks might have thought that it would be better for him to finish the games at UK. He probably got more PT than he would have at the NBA level. He probably improved more by playing in the SEC than he could have sitting at the end of the Knicks bench.

I just heard that the cleaning crew was tiddying up under Tubby's desk after he left and found a pretty interesting fax.............. :)

I'm happy for him, good luck and have a great NBA career Morris.

When can he start playing? Does he have to wait until next year, or could he see action this season?

Since he couldn't guard the UT's freshmen centers and said that both in that game and Alabama, he wasn't mentally ready to play, I can't wait to see what a Shaq does to him.

Could be ugly watching Shaq being guarded by Morris.

I am sure Randolph will be a 4 at the next level.

THANK YOU MORRIS! I am blessed to see you leave Kentucky with your subpar efforts on and off the court. Might want to take public speaking 101, it might help with your contract negotiations in the future.

A FINAL FAREWELL TO THE ONE PERSON, WHO SHOULD HAVE LEFT LAST YEAR!

NOW, WE HAVE A WIN WIN SITUATION! TUBBY AND MORRIS ARE GONE! LET IT SNOW!

TIME FOR UK FOOTBALL, I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THAT LINE!
