March 18, 200719 yr Tubby Smith: 0 Points 0 Assists 0 Rebounds Prefers yellow Gatorade over green I submit that Tubby Smith is to blame for the Kansas loss. Nice....
March 18, 200719 yr Brutal 2nd half for the Cats. And now we enter a critical 30 days for the program... No lie there.
March 18, 200719 yr I'm sure this will turn into a "Can Tubby Thread" really quick, but before it does I wanted to say that if Morris steps up his game just a tad, he'll be super tough next year.
March 18, 200719 yr Bottomline UK has to find more offense from somewhere. If Morris isn't in the game, UK offense consists of dribble around and chuck up a three. That has been an achilles heel for two years now...

March 18, 200719 yr Imo the Cats only chance to pull this one out was to get the Jayhawks in a halfcourt game and keep them there, The better team won, this one went about the way I expected it to. When Morris went out with his 3rd foul early in the 2nd half imo it was basically over. :thumb: To the seniors : "Woo", Perry and Thomas and thank you for your hard work and dedication to UK. basketball. "Once a Wildcat..........Always a Wildcat" :ylsuper: I can't wait for Next season!!!
March 18, 200719 yr The officials really stuck it too Kentucky today. They cost the Cats the ballgame. :madman: Just kidding.   I just thought I might be able to get a couple of you with that one. This game went pretty much as I expected. Kansas just had too many weapons for the Cats. I think we saw Morris play his last game for the Cats. I would be shocked if he came back. Patterson and Lucas are a huge must for Tubby. For some reason I've just had this feeling all day that Tubby would pull a Joe B. Hall from 1985 today.
March 18, 200719 yr I thought Kentucky had a decent shot to make it to the sweet 16, if they got a good draw. Drawing one of the best teams in the country in the second round didn't help. Very strange to say that if Tubby comes back next year will be a make or break season for him even if that criticism is deserved. He certainly will start the season with even more pressure than he had to end this season.
March 18, 200719 yr Somewhat off subject, have you heard anything new about Patterson or Lucas lately? Nothing new other than the espn guys said Patterson had it down between Duke, Fla. and U.K. and that is not anything new.
March 18, 200719 yr I thought the Cats played pretty well all day, but, Kansas is just so deep and athletic at every position. Morris gave there inside players fits and Perry had a solid game, but, to beat a team like that, you have to have everyone playing a quality game and Jasper, Bradley and Crawford didn't have that type game...I'm proud of the effort they gave and looking forward to next year...I can see Morris coming back, but, for some reason, I see an NBA team giving him a chance before this years up..I hope to see Patterson and Lucas on our team next year, but, imo, Lucas would be more beneficial..Unless Jasper can give a little offense, the Cats are going to need a point guard and let Meeks, Bradley and Crawford rotate at the wings...

I would say Morris is gone, he really steped his game up the last month. If they project him anywhere in the 2nd round I think he will leave.
