Nothing new other than the espn guys said Patterson had it down between Duke, Fla. and U.K. and that is not anything new.

That's the last I heard, with him expected to announce early April, however there's a thread over in the Boys BBall Forum where someone said Patterson is about to announce for Florida, and I'm just wondering if their's any truth to it.

I would say that Kansas may make a couple of more teams say Ouch before this tournament is over.

I had them picked to cut'em down they are darned good.

Just kidding.   I just thought I might be able to get a couple of you with that one. This game went pretty much as I expected. Kansas just had too many weapons for the Cats. I think we saw Morris play his last game for the Cats. I would be shocked if he came back. Patterson and Lucas are a huge must for Tubby. For some reason I've just had this feeling all day that Tubby would pull a Joe B. Hall from 1985 today.

:thumb: Funny you should say that, I have had that feeling all week. I hope not but he may have just had enough and not be back, I hope that he will. Go Cats, when is midnight madness???

I'm a little young.....What did Joe B. do???

I think that Perry, Thomas, Woo, Hanson, and Rigot need to go. I think that Morris needs to stay. I think that Lucas, Patterson, and some actual assistants need to come in. Then we'll be back to normal.

Also, I know Perry played well in the tourney, but one of the reasons we're an 8 seed is because he didn't play during the season.

The lack of guard play is what really hurt UK this game. Meeks was 3-14, Bradley 1-6, and Crawford 4-12. 8-32 just won't get it done.

Once again today proves that the Cats have not declined any in the Tubby era.:p :sssh: ;)

Jasper hurts the guard play more than the others. No offensive game at all, decent ball handler but not great, lacks any emotion. He has to get better this offseason.

Agreed. You really saw this when RM had to sit on the pine. Points in the paint from the Jayhawks also were deeply felt.

Deep down, we all know that the odds are that Morris is gone and Carter can't fill his sneakers, Patterson's heart is with the Gators and we will have spent so much time watching and pleading for Patterson that we will end up taking about anyone around 6'-8"that will sign. AND that's not even taking the guys who decide to leave and look for greener pastures somewhere else into the equation. IMO, if you did'nt like this season, maybe next season will be one to just concentrate on the "Honey Do" list and ignore college basketball. The cupboard could be kind of bare in Lexington. THAT is a scary feeling. I hope I'm wrong, but next season dosen't seem so bright.....

He announced his resignation/retirement after the Cats lost in the tournament.

I can promise you that Perry, Thomas and Woo won't be back.
