Son, Duke plays in a world that has (basket)balls, and those balls have to be guarded by men with big guns.

Whose gonna do it? You? You, Mcpapa?

Coach K has a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Hansbrough, and you curse the Blue Devils. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Hansbrough's bloody nose, while tragic, probably saved points. And Coach K's existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves games.

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want Coach K on that court, you need Coach K on that court. We use words like honor, foul, cheap shot. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline.

Coach K has neither the time nor the inclination to explain himself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very winning seasons that he provides, and then questions the manner in which he provides them. I think he would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a ball, and play post. Either way, I don't give a darn what you think!

Somebody had to do it. ;)

So why don't you just tell us how you really feel and not be so timid about it. :D :D :thumb:

As a follow up to Birdy.

Your gosh darn right I did.

No I think Hendrickson hates Tyler. Coach K is a great guy it seems and really respects other players. I say Hendrickson decided to do it on his own. There is no Goon in this game.

Wasn't sure how to put that part...without breaking the rules. ;)
I dislike Coach K more than probably anyone, I think he's a weasel when it comes to badgering the officials, recruiting, etc., but he is not the type of coach that would ever "order" a flagrant/intentional foul. JMO.

I feel the same way.

I was going to vote no but Birdsfan's post changed my feelings on the matter.

Its obvious Coach K told him to do this. Coach K is a jerk, he should be tarred and feathered!!!!

I do not think Coach K ordered the elbow.. but he is full of crap saying there was no intent on hurting Hans. Coack K is not as stand up as Roy Williams in my opinion. I wouldn't say coach K is dirty, but he looks kinda shady.

I really can't believe that 15 people have voted 'Yes' in this poll. I'm a little disappointed...

I disagree...Now, there may have been intent to give a hard foul, but I doubt very seriously that Henderson was thinking, "Im going to hurt this dude if he goes up." Foul him hard, maybe...Intentionally hurt him? Definitley not, IMO...
