Son, Duke plays in a world that has (basket)balls, and those balls have to be guarded by men with big guns.

Whose gonna do it? You? You, Mcpapa?

Coach K has a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Hansbrough, and you curse the Blue Devils. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That Hansbrough's bloody nose, while tragic, probably saved points. And Coach K's existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves games.

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want Coach K on that court, you need Coach K on that court. We use words like honor, foul, cheap shot. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline.

Coach K has neither the time nor the inclination to explain himself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very winning seasons that he provides, and then questions the manner in which he provides them. I think he would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a ball, and play post. Either way, I don't give a darn what you think!

I don't like DUKE, but I don't see coach K doing this.

Coach K would never do something like that.

I don't think coach rat ordered the hit. I was just surprised they didn't call a foul on Tyler and get duke back in the game.

One of the funniest things I've read on BGP in a month of Sundays! Especially the part about those balls.

Just in case anyone had the idea that I thought Coach K "ordered the hit", nothing could be farther from the truth; sometimes it's fun to stir the pot just a little bit.

I'll have to try that one of these days... :walk:

The hardest part is sitting on the bench for a day or two and watching the fireworks...
