Congrats to Coach Cohen and the Bat Cats! I love the way his teams play baseball. I made it to about 5 games last year and hope to make it to some more this year but my son is playing middle school baseball and it will probably be harder than last year when he was in Cal Ripken.

They played pretty well. Several hits by the Cats, but they were scattered. Close, low-scoring games are good, though. They'll need that type of experience heading into SEC play.

Just to let everyone know, Coach Cohen, his assistants, and a few players put on a FREE clinic this morning for area little league coaches! It just shows how much Coach cares about involving the community and giving back to the areas of Lexington. In an already competitive little league, nothing is better than a little coaching from the college in town. I think that Coach thinks by doing things like this he can teach coaches to turn an average kid into a great player, which means more in state recruits, and more SEC championships!!!
