Was Coach Kirk the guy that was there a few years ago when there was some kind of drama with a couple of twin brothers from Bracken County?

Summer ball is just that, summer ball.  Half of the teams that has a head coach in place, you will see the head coach let the asst. coach run the team while is bull crapping with someone.

    My guess would be no.

  • Every teacher is concerned about tenure.

Any movement or word on this? This is a historical job so I would think there would be some good candidates.

It's not even officially posted on Mason County School District yet.

That's an interesting twist.

Either taking their time with hosting the region or going through back channels of candidates before a formality posting.

Heard coach Matt Taylor is interested. He was formally at St Pat. Then coached 6A Eastlake HS in El Paso to back to back 20 plus win seasons and state appearances.

I doubt the interest is mutual.

The fact that it is not, makes me think they are zeroing in on someone specific.

Heared a rumor (Yes, I said rumor) they may be trying to lure Robbie Graham from GRC to fill this position.  Anybody else hearing the same thing?

Why would he leave his job for this one?

Would that be a pre-April Fool's joke from someone?

Chance to move to the boys side and coach at a traditional power house.  I know he's built something at GRC and its a well oiled machine at this point.  If he ever has intentions of getting into coaching boys this would be a good opportunity for him.  Does he still have family in the area?
